In a new interview with BBC Radio 1, Q-Tip says there might be another "incarnation" of A Tribe Called Quest coming soon.

"Stay tuned for any other incarnation because we don't intend on stopping," Q-Tip tells radio host Annie Mac. "That was Phife’s M.O., this time we gotta do it and keep going.' He's left us with the equation of how do we do it, but we're going to need it, and we're going to continue."

Throughout the 18-minute conversation, Q-Tip also goes in-depth about Tribe's new album, We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service. Tip says that creating the album helped ease the pain from losing their friend and group member, Phife Dawg.

"At the end of the day, it was cathartic," Q-Tip says. "But, he was our friend. We all grew up as friends for many many years, so that compounded with the fact that we made something many people deemed special, and created music, or we were in the creative space. That was just another energy element added to it altogether. So yeah, it was tough at time to go back in [and make another album]."

Q-Tip had previously said that We Got It From Here would be Tribe's final album. As a result, it's interesting that he's saying the crew will be back in another "incarnation." Die-hard fans will certainly be pleased about the news.
