OG Maco doesn't not want his music to be pigeonholed. The Atlanta rapper shows off his versatility on the new track "Monster" featuring Doja Cat.

"I made another rock song," OG Maco wrote on Twitter. "It's not rap at all but the blogs gonna say it is because I'm supposed to be a 'rapper.'"

OG Maco's words ring true as this record is not something that would get tagged as hip-hop if it weren't for the Atlanta artist's name. The former XXL Freshman's voice conveys the message of track, as seen with his strained chorus on the Rex and Sevn Thomas production.

"We all could be the monsters/We all could be the cancer/We all don't have the answers/Fear and doubt will slowly killing you all/We all might be the monsters/We all might be the monsters/We're only getting stronger," OG Maco sings on the hook.

"Monster" comes from OG Maco's long awaited Children of the Rage, but it seems like fans are no closer to hearing it. The Quality Control artist shared a message about its status on SoundCloud.

"This track is on #ChildrenOfTheRage, but since I've been unable to drop it, I made three more albums and decided I'll be dropping songs from it at random," OG Maco wrote.

Although OG Maco has been unable to release the LP, it has not stopped him from dropping new projects. Last month, the "U Guessed It" rapper dropped the For Scott EP as a tribute to Kid Cudi.
