Master P, Lizzo, Sir The Baptist and More to Perform at 2017 Essence Festival

The line-up for the 2017 Essence Festival in New Orleans was announced this week, some of R&B's biggest stars headlining. Diana Ross, Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Solange will be joined by Master P,  Shaggy, Teyana Taylor, Chaka Khan, India.Arie, Jasmine Sullivan, Ro James, Lizzo, Sir The Baptist and more come June.

Tickets for the festival go on sale today (Dec. 16) at 11 a.m. EST so act fact.

Master P has been busy making some entrepreneurial moves lately. A couple weeks ago, he announced his new line of marijuana and vape products. Soon after that, he released a song called "Sugar Skull Rum" to help promote the liquor of the same name.

Lizzo, meanwhile, has seen success with hit songs like "Good as Hell" and "Let 'em Say."
