Lloyd Banks is ending the year on a high note. The rapper has just announced the arrival of his newborn daughter.

The All or Nothing creator shared the big news in a short post on Twitter. "My baby girl is here!!!" he tweeted.

Banks has been quiet about his role as a father up until this point. Aside from a photo of a very pregnant woman by his side showing up on social media in November, there hasn't been much to go off of without his confirmation.

Now that's all changed with one tweet. This is the G-Unit member's first child. Congratulations, PLK!

Fatherhood hasn't affected Banks' work ethic this year. At the top of 2016, he revisited his Halloween Havoc 2 mixtape to drop the videos for "Mind Over Matter" and "Angel Dust."  Once September hit, he released All or Nothing: Live It Up, featuring collaborations with Joe Budden, Tony Yayo and Styles P, and followed that up with Halloween Havoc 3 in October.

In celebration of his Blue Friday Series, the Queens MC unleashed the track "Misunderstood" last month. He continued with a new song, "Last of a Dope Era Dying," earlier this month. Banks launched the series in 2010, releasing new records every Friday, which culminated in a mixtape.
