Earlier this week, Kanye West made headlines when he met with President-Elect Donald Trump on Tuesday morning (Dec. 13) at Trump Tower in New York City.

Hours after their meeting, West took to Twitter to unveil details about his encounter with Mr. Trump. He shared with his followers that he met with the newly elected president to discuss multicultural issues that include bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculum and violence in Chicago. 'Ye added that it was truly important to him to meet with the future president of the United States because it's vital to have an open form of communication with the next POTUS if we all want change in America.

With many people expressing their thoughts about Kanye meeting with Trump on Twitter and other social media platforms, some felt mind-boggled of the rapper's decision while others praised the hip-hop superstar for being the first MC to meet with the president-elect. Even Yeezy's peers like YG and A$AP Ferg had something to say about their meet-up.

While Kanye's meeting with Trump still has plenty of people talking, XXL's Man on the Street went all the way to 5th Avenue in front of the Trump Tower location to get people's opinion on the highly publicized incident. Check out the reactions in the video above.
