Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Begin Couples Therapy
Following news of Kanye West's hospitalization, his meeting with Donald Trump and the general characterization of his well-being in recent weeks, there was a notion that his marriage to Kim Kardashian was on the rocks. On Dec. 3, the husband and wife were living apart for "medical reasons" and a few days later, were rumored to have an impending divorce, though sources shot those rumors down.
Now, the Daily Mail reports Kim and Kanye are headed to couples therapy, lending some truth to potential friction. The two have reportedly decided to seek professional help for the sake of their two children, following a heart-to-heart this past weekend. An insider tells the site that the couple is doing better. "Kim is so in love with him and love can be blinding sometimes -- she just adores him and the family loves him as well," a friend of the couple’s said. "It’s a situation that she’s giving another shot, a second chance. She feels he’s been under a lot of pressure, so she feels like he deserves another shot."
Kanye's mental duress was heavily covered, and the breakdown came just a few months after Kim was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room. There's no doubt the year's second half has been trying for the couple and Entertainment Tonight reported earlier this month that E! has filmed scenes about the hospitalization for the next season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. E! production cameras were not in the hospital at any time, but there will be a family discussion regarding the incident.
