Update (Dec. 13, 7:56 a.m. EST):

Seems like Juelz has responded to the report that he's wanted for failing to pay child support. Read his tweet below.

Original Story:

An arrest warrant has been issued for Juelz Santana due to his failure to make child support payments. New Jersey authorities are looking to apprehend the Dipset member because he owes close to $30,000 to the mother of his 13-year-old son Laron Jr., according to TMZ.

Legal documents state that Juelz Santana, whose real name is Laron James, was ordered to pay $1,800 per month back in 2013. The rapper has allegedly failed to keep up with his child support, racking up a total of $28,491.32 in missed payments. His next payment is due this Friday (Dec. 16).

The "There It Go (The Whistle Song)" rapper responded to the news on Twitter earlier today (Dec. 12). He claimed there was another side to the story.

"It 2 Sides 2 Every Story...An I Alway Been A Great Dad... jus Remember Cuz I feel the BS Coming Smh... NEW HEAT," he wrote.

Juelz Santana has been very quiet on the music front in recent years, but the past couple of weeks showed some signs that this might change in 2017. The Harlem native got momentum going with a freestyle called "Up in the Studio Gettin Blown." He quickly followed that up with "Up in the Studio Gettin Blown Pt. 2." The MC's latest record arrived just a few days ago when he teamed up with Dave East, Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel for the posse cut "Time Ticking" produced by Jahlil Beats.
