Drake is no stranger to breaking records. Today (Dec. 16), Billboard announces that Drizzy has reached another milestone: his single “One Dance” is officially the first song to surpass a billion Spotify streams.

The radio-friendly, dancehall-inspired record featuring WizKid and Kyla currently sits at over 1.001 billion streams. Back in May, “One Dance” became Drake’s first No. 1 song in the United States, and it stayed at the top of the charts for 10 weeks. Then, in October, the club banger became the most streamed song in Spotify history.

To say it’s been a big year for Drake would be a major understatement. The Views rapper broke multiple records in 2016, including beating Justin Bieber for most streamed artist on Spotify, breaking the Billboard Hot 100 record with 20 simultaneous hits, and breaking long-held other records by icons such as Michael Jackson and 50 Cent.

The 30-year-old Toronto artist has a whopping eight Grammy nominations heading into the 2017 awards. Oh, yeah, and his album Views went four times platinum. Even if you think the project was subpar, its mainstream success is undeniable.

It seems as if life is a constant celebration for Drizzy, who spends his time buying friends luxury whips and dropping huge songs with artists like Gucci Mane. The Guwop collab, titled “Both,” is a cut from the Trap God’s new album The Return of East Atlanta Santa. Their collaboration project 6’ers is still in the works.
