Dom Kennedy and Hit-Boy just dropped their joint EP Half-A-Mil this week, but Dom is already crusing forward, taking to Instagram to announce that he has another project dropping this month. "Los Angeles Is Not For Sale, Vol. 1 DECEMBER 23RD!!!! 15 TRACKS NO COMMERCIAL INTERRUPTIONS," he wrote beneath the album's cover art.

The influx of music from Dom comes after a relatively quiet year, his last album, By Dom Kennedy, dropping in June of 2015. The west coast rapper did pop up on Pete Rock and Smoke DZA's recently released Don't Smoke Rockso the wheels are definitely spinning. What's more, back in October, a video was posted to Instagram of Dom and DJ Quik in the studio together. It seemed likely they were recording for Quik and Problem's full-length collab album Rosecrans, a producer named Macado saying he leant drums to the track, which is produced by Quik and Polyester the Saint and called "Bad Azz."

Looking back at some of Dom's song drops in recent months, tracks like “Dominic Part 2″ and “96 Cris" have yet to wind up on any existing tracklist, so they seem good candidates to make this new 15 track project. Check back for more pre-released from Kennedy, with Los Angeles Is Not For Sale, Vol. 1 slated to drop a week from tomorrow, on Dec. 23. In the meantime, the five-track Half-A-Mil EP is available to stream via SoundCloud.
