Fans hoping for a Black Hippy album in the future might be out of luck. During Ab-Soul's Twitter Q&A session "#AskSoulo," one fan asked if the collective would ever be putting out a project, to which he responded with a light-hearted but fairly emphatic, "No."

"No, and stop asking me that," he says in the video above. "Fuck Black Hippy." While he didn't necessarily seem all that serious, the last part of Ab-Soul's response is sure to raise some eyebrows. Beyond the question of "why" the Cali collective wouldn't put out an album, people are probably wondering if he has any problems with his crew. Honestly, we doubt there's anything to all of this, but it's something we might revisit in the future.

In any case, Ab-Soul is probably more focused on his latest album than anything else. The new project, titled Do What Thou Wilt, just dropped yesterday (Dec. 8) and you can check it on Apple Music. You can peep the tracklist for the new project below.
