Barack Obama -- who is, objectively speaking, the coolest president ever -- has followed in Dave Chappelle's footsteps by having his own block party. The concert was filmed a little while ago, and it will be broadcast in an upcoming TV special. You can peep the trailer for yourself up top.

While the soon-to-be-broadcasted show isn't exactly a block party -- it was filmed indoors at the White House -- it will feature a lineup that's every bit as wholesome and star-studded as Chappelle's legendary New York concert. The Roots, Usher, Common and Jill Scott all perform at the event. The TV special for the concert is called BET Presents Love & Happiness: An Obama Celebration, and it will air on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. ET.

The TV special is a fitting celebration of Obama's presidency, one that has seen the POTUS embrace hip-hop in a way that no other American political figure has. He's noted for his friendship with Jay Z, and has never, ever shied away from offering his take on the hip-hop landscape. Back in October, Obama offered some pretty effusive praise to Chance The Rapper and Kendrick Lamar, citing them as artists who are leaving their mark on the rap game.

“There’s a lot of talent out there, but when I look at who’s breaking new ground, Kendrick and Chance, those guys are doing amazing work,” he said. “And they’re wonderful young men. Chance I’ve known for years ’cause his dad was my state director when I was a senator in Illinois. I first met Chance when he was eight years old. So we’ve been family for a while. And then Kendrick, he’s blowing it up, he’s doing great.”
