Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd and Desiigner are just a few of the rappers participating in the new craze. Now, Vic Mensa can officially be added to list thanks to his appearance on MTV's Wonderland. The Chicago rapper and Kehlani joined in the trend along with all the fans in attendance for the show.

While Vic Mensa got to have some fun here, he recently had a serious conversation with Minister Louis Farrakhan. Last month, the "16 Shots" MC provided XXL with a little insight into his discussion with the Nation of Islam leader.

“Farrakhan was just giving game,” Mensa said. “Just laying out why a lot of things are the way that they are. How we can challenge them. You know, he was talking about slipping these messages into music.”

Vic Mensa also explained how Minister Farrakhan had a unique experience at Kanye West’s Saint Pablo tour, which the activist attended the night before the aforementioned conversation.

“When he had gone to Kanye’s show the night before, [he was] feeling like he was seeing a new generation of youth and specifically of White people, which I agree with,” Mensa said. “He was saying, ‘You got kids here at this Kanye concert who have grown up with Black idols.’ You know, it’s hard to hold on to racism when you have Black idols, like real idols.”
