OG Maco unleashes a new six-track EP called For Scott..., which is dedicated to Kid Cudi. You can listen to the project above via SoundCloud.

The Cudder influence is evident throughout OG Maco's new body of work. Track one, "For Scott," pairs a Cudi-esque delivery with a spaced-out instrumental courtesy of Taokescheap. The next song, "At Night," opens with melodic humming, similar to the sounds found on "Through the Late Night" off Travis Scott's Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. The EP's SoundCloud description states, "For the man on the moon who taught us all not to give a fuck. You are our big brother. Fight On. Dream On."

Shout-out to the Atlanta artist for making a whole EP dedicated to one of his favorite musicians and inspirations. No doubt that Cudder appreciates the love. In early October, the "Day 'n Nite" rapper entered a rehab facility for treatment of "depression and suicidal urges." Cudi took to Facebook and wrote in a heart-wrenching open letter, “I am not at peace. I haven’t been since you’ve known me. If I didn’t come here, I would’ve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life."

He continued, "Theres a ragin violent storm inside of my heart at all times. Idk what peace feels like. Idk how to relax. My anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember and I never leave the house because of it. I cant make new friends because of it. I don’t trust anyone because of it and Im tired of being held back in my life. I deserve to have peace.”

Cudi's upcoming Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin' album is still expected to drop in 2016. In case you missed it, check out the man on the moon's freestyles, guest verses and unreleased songs all in one place.
