November brings with it a new crop of albums and mixtapes from rappers like Common, Lil Bibby and E-40. While there's plenty to get excited about across the board, no release this month or perhaps even this year will be able to rival that of A Tribe Called Quest, who are releasing their final album, We Got It From Here, Thank You For Your Service, on Nov. 11, what will be their first in over 18 years.

In a New York Times piece published this week, it was revealed that André 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John, Jack White, Busta Rhymes and more would be featured on the new Tribe album making it even more of an event. The album was inspired by the loss of Phife Dawg, who died at the age of 45 this past March due to complications resulting from diabetes. Q-Tip had said of Phife and the new Tribe album, “It was coming together nicely and as you may know we lost our BROTHER may GOD REST HIS SOUL on March 22nd. But he left us with the blueprint of what we had to do.”

The Weeknd as well is making his return this month, his Starboy album dropping Nov. 25. His previous release, 2015's Beauty Behind the Madness, propelled him to mainstream stardom, going three times platinum and earning him Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Album of the Year. The singer said in September that Starboy is the best-sounding album he's ever made and that the production feels aggressive but still sexy. Influences on the album include Prince, DeBarge, Bad Brains and more.
