Baton Rouge, La. rapper NBA YoungBoy, who now goes by YoungBoy Never Broke Again, was arrested this past weekend while in Austin, Texas for a performance. XXL has learned he was booked in Travis County early Monday morning (Nov. 28) and charged with an "undetermined," out of state felony. The official charge is on hold from another agency, which usually means an inmate has been taken in on a warrant from a jurisdiction other than where they're being detained. He's currently being held without bond, and it seems as though he'll be extradited.

Footage of the arrest was captured in the above Instagram video outside the Austin venue YoungBoy was performing at.

XXL recently talked to the 17-year-old rapper about looking up to Lil Phat, being inspired by Young Scooter and how he started making music after getting out of jail. He was even featured on Boosie's latest project Merry Christmas, Happy Thanksgiving.

YoungBoy, born Kentrell Desean Gaulden, released his 38 Baby mixtape at the end of October featuring Boosie, Kevin Gates and others. Barely a week later, he dropped another new tape, Mind of a Menace 3. He's one of rap's brightest young talents right now, so we hope he's holding his head.

XXL will update this post as we learn more about YoungBoy's status.
