Fans React to Kanye West Saying He Supports Donald Trump
"If I would've voted, I would've voted on Trump," he told the crowd to mostly boos. "This is my platform and I'm going to talk about the paradigm shift that's happening right now."
He praised the politically incorrect nature of Trump's campaign, saying it "inspired racists to reveal themselves." He continued on for nearly 40 minutes, at one point getting a Yeezy shoe thrown at him onstage (he signed the shoe and threw it back into the audience).
Now he's getting reactions thrown at him online too, as fans are reacting with disappointment to his comments. Check the gallery up top to see what Twitter is saying.
In his long speech, Kanye also said he liked some things Ben Carson was saying and believed the man should be a consultant for Trump. He also told black people to "stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, OK? Let's stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It's a f*cking fact. We are in a racist country."
Just before the election, both Jay Z and Beyoncé came out in support of Hillary Clinton, even throwing a concert to help get voters to the polls. It had been reported that following Kanye's outburst about a rift with Jay Z, Hov missed the old Kanye. He's probably more nostalgic than ever now.
