Desiigner did not always sound like a rapper from Atlanta. As listeners can hear in the above video, the Brooklyn native sounded much different before he created the smash hit "Panda." Desiigner's familiar adlibs are nowhere to be seen as he spits in a manner that's much more common to other MCs from his hometown.

There is not much detail about the video, such as when it was recorded. Considering that Desiigner is only 19 years old, this footage may have been filmed before he hit puberty. That would certainly explain the dramatic difference in his voice.

Whatever the case may be, Desiigner obviously liked this verse a lot. The G.O.O.D. Music artist would end up using it on "Make It Out" from his debut mixtape New English.

The video is an interesting glimpse into Desiigner's past, which was recently explored in his I Am Def Jam documentary. In that short film, the "Timmy Turner" creator said he's always wanted to be viewed as an artist instead of a rapper.

"Did I always want to be a rapper? Nah,” he said. “I always seen myself as being an artist. Being able to create things and put things out there for people to enjoy and people to watch was just always me. And it’s love, I love it.”

If you missed it earlier this week, don't forget to check out Desiigner's performance of "Timmy Turner" at the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The 2016 XXL Freshman did it big and brought out a choir for the performance.
