It's hard to deny that Atlanta is still at the top of the food chain in the rap scene, and the men behind the boards are largely responsible for that. Two of the hottest beat makers in the city, Southside and Metro Boomin, recently linked up for a studio session, which was partly captured on camera.

The two recently linked up in a Miami studio along with fellow Atlanta producer DJ Spinz and a handful of other 808 Mafia producers. Chapmen TV was on hand to document the session.

In the first part of the clip, Sizzle lets Spinz hear some of his latest concoctions and even some older joints.

Later on, Young Metro shows up to show off his latest pack, which includes some instrumentals containing some extra-terrestrial sounding chords.

Atlanta's core of young producers are a close knit crew for the most part. Sonny Digital recently did an interview with DJ Whoo Kid on his “Hollywood Shuffle” radio show where he talked about forming a bond with the producers who run the scene.

“I didn’t even know TM88 made beats for the longest. I used to just see him in the club just beating niggas up every time I went to the club, bro,” said Sonny, greeted by laughter from everyone in the studio. “Then when I found out he was making beats, I was like, 'Bro, you beating niggas’ asses and making beats?'”

We wonder what future bangers were put together in this session.
