Summer is all but a distant memory at this point, and the leaves on the ground and the increasing amount of gloomy days only means one thing: fall is here. The hump day of seasons may be anticipated by some for the possibilities that Cuffing Season may bring, but the main highlight of fall is undoubtedly Halloween. Pumpkins, candy corn (you either love it or hate it), crazy costumes and plenty of parties are to be expected so when it comes to having a celebration, hip-hop is always down to contribute to the festivities.

Being that the culture of hip-hop evolved out of the real-life trials and tribulations that was the South Bronx during the 1970s, and the crack epidemic that engulfed urban America during the 1980s (some would describe that as a horror movie in itself), rappers and their fans are far from the faint of heart and are predisposed to looking fear in the face. There's a reason that tracks like Public Enemy's "Night of the Living Baseheads," Jadakiss' 2015 banger "Jason" and other selections throughout rap history have titles inspired by horror flicks and the villains that make them. Creepy crawlers, monsters and other staples of Halloween have been referenced in rap songs for decades, with many of our greatest artists going as far as creating whole songs celebrating the holiday.

With Halloween creeping just around the corner, we decided to share a few rap songs that will spook you out and are perfect to let ring off in anticipation of the big day. From B.o.B.'s "Ghost in the Machine" to Snoop Dogg's "Murder Was the Case" and more, be sure to keep the lights on when giving these 20 Hip-Hop Songs That Will Seriously Scare You a spin.
