President Barack Obama hosted his final White House musical event last night (Oct. 21), and from the looks of some of the footage that escaped the shindig, it was lit, complete with POTUS cutting a rug to Drake's "Hotline Bling" at the after party.

Phones were reportedly banned from the event, but that didn't stop Usher from snapping some video of Barry turning TF up to the Aubrey single as the crowd hypes him up. Janelle Monae can be seen enjoying herself among the group of people.

While Obama wasn't shy about two-stepping, he let it be known that no twerking would be popping off in the pop off, telling the crowd before the show, “There will also be no twerking tonight. At least not by me. I don't know about Usher."

Usher, The Roots, Janelle Monae, Michelle Williams and many others performed at the event which has been an annual ordeal for the Obama family. This year's event, which was done in conjunction with BET and dubbed, "Love and Happiness," took place in a tent on the South Lawn.

Barry O. has been the realest when it comes to inviting musical artists, especially urban artists, to his famous digs. A number of rappers, including Killer Mike, J. Cole, Rick Ross, Wale, Macklemore, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and others have all been invited to events at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Back in June, Pres. declared the month African-American Music Appreciation Month.

The "Love and Happiness" show will broadcast on BET on Nov. 15.
