We haven't heard much from Kevin Gates since he dropped his excellent Murder for Hire 2 EP back in May of this year, but on Wednesday (Oct. 5) his DJ BWA Ron dropped a new mixtape called All Praise to the Most Highand it features an unreleased Gates record called "Drive" featuring his comrade OG Boobie Black. You can hear it above.

The song's produced by the exceptional K.E. on the Track and Beat Mechanics, and though much of the song is sex talk from the Baton Rouge rapper, his double time flow on the first verse is simply immaculate. Boobie Black takes the second verse before Kevin comes back to finish the song, starting his verse with a nod to Soulja Slim.

Gates was recently in Saudi Arabia visiting Mecca, and it seems like it was a life-changing experience for the Islah rapper, who said he couldn't stop crying during the visit. He has plenty of reason for the happy tears—his official debut album, which dropped back in January, is the first debut album that dropped this year to go platinum. He announced the benchmark alongside the release of his latest video for "Time for That," which we hear is getting adds on urban radio as of recent. The album's chock full of singles, so hopefully we'll be hearing Gates on radio all year long.

Listen to "Drive" above and look out for more new music from Gates; he's back in the booth and recording, from the look of things.
