In July, Jay Z released a TIDAL playlist called "Songs for Survival," which included artists like Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Bob Marley. Today (Oct. 3), Hov unleashes his more rap-centric "Brick Phone" playlist with artists like Big Daddy Kane, E-40 and Kool G Rap.

The 46-year-old business, man, takes us back to the old school with other songs from Gang Starr, LL Cool J and N.W.A. And it's no secret that Jay is a big fan of Kool G Rap; on his Black Album track "Encore," Hov spits, "Hearin' me rap is like hearin' G rap in his prime."

This playlist is for the hustlers on the block. You can peep the tracklist for the 35-song playlist below, and keep scrolling to listen via TIDAL.
