After touring stateside for the past three months, Drake has announced via Twitter that his Summer Sixteen tour will be followed by a series of international dates dubbed the Boy Meets World tour. Drake of course refers to himself as "the boy" on such songs as "Days in the East" and "From Time," the tour title as well playing off the popular 90s teen sitcom Boy Meets World. Drizzy was himself on a popular teen sitcom, making the tour title one big pop culture reference.

The European tour will start in January of next year with extended stops in Amsterdam, London and Paris. There are a few months between the end of the Summer Sixteen tour and the beginning of this one, so if Drake and Kanye West are serious about their joint album, that seems the window to do it.

The Summer Sixteen tour was marked by a number of high profile guests from both music and sports, Drake demonstrating the impressive strength of his rolodex. While it seems unlikely that he'll be able to match the star power of those special guests, his relationship with Skepta, both on wax and off, might result in a few performances of "Shutdown" along the way.
