Michel'le's upcoming Lifetime movie Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le is set to premiere next Saturday (Oct. 15), but there is definitely one person who is not happy about the release of the biopic. Dr. Dre is threatening to sue Sony Pictures over the TV film, which shows him as an abusive lover.

TMZ reports the N.W.A co-founder is pissed over his depiction in the film, and has had his lawyers send Sony a cease and desist letter, with the threat of legal action if the film airs in its current form.

In the letter, obtained by the celebrity gossip site, Dre says he never abused Michel'le and points out that she never hinted that he was a violent person in the 30 years since they've dated. Dre alleges the light-voiced singer never went to the hospital or filed a police report to back up her claims.

The trailer for the film (below) shows Dre as quick tempered and violent. At one point in the clip, the actor portraying Dre grab's the singer's neck after she doesn't come up with a song fast enough. According to the report, Dre's legal team has also warned Michel'le to chill with the slander.

This isn't the first time, Michel'le has made these type of claims. Following her omission in the film Straight Outta Compton, she conducted an interview with DJ Vlad where she said, “I was just a quiet girlfriend who got beat up and told to sit down and shut up.” She added that her storyline “has no value” to the kind of myth-making one might expect when a member of the group is one of the film’s executive producers.

This is not the only time Dre has been accused of abuse. Hip-Hop journalist Dee Barnes was assaulted by Dre in 1991 after the group was upset over a segment about them that aired on her show in 1990. The legendary producer has since apologized.
