Oswin Benjamin, Locksmith and Dead Prez delivery a politically charged cypher at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards. With DJ Revolution spinning the beat, stic.man, M-1, Oswin and Locksmith drop poignant bars about police brutality, racism and so much more. The cypher was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Black Panther party. At the end all the rappers along with Sway posed with their fist in the air.

The cypher this year have been quality. First up was Beanie Sigel, Peedi Crakk, Freeway, Omillio Sparks and Neef Buck, representing Philadelphia. The second cypher featured Kent Jones, Nick Grant, Russ, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Don Q. The third cypher featured artists from the Tri-State. Dave East, Young M.A, Kur, Ms. Jade and Sam Black dropped some of their best bars for their cypher.
