Birds in the trap sing overpriced? Travis Scott just recently dropped his sophomore album and a crazy merch pack to go along with it, but there's one item that's got some questioning the rapper's pricing, and it isn't the $5 condom.

With a heavy eagle theme throughout, Scott is selling a plush stuffed version of the bird for $50, though as the above Instagram post accurately points out, the very same toy can be purchased from Stuffed Safari for $12.99, or 26% of the cost Scott is listing. What's more, purchasing the bird from Scott will require patience, the preorder forecasting a delivery date between 8 and 10 weeks, while Stuffed Safari lists no delays on the item. As seen above, Scott's site even uses the exact same image to advertise the bird, a white outline surrounding it. It would perhaps be one thing if Scott rebranded the bird, added a patch or some sort of new value to it, but from the looks of it, there is no difference between the two whatsoever.

If the notion that rapper merchandise was getting out of hand existed before, than this further solidifies it. Considering that Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight earned Scott his first No. 1 album, totaling 88,000 equivalent album sales, it seems safe to say that the hiccup isn't derailing Scott anytime soon, though purchasers are likely more skeptical now when it comes to filling that check-out basket up.
