Yesterday (Sept. 11), marked the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers. It was an event that permanently altered the New York skyline and not only brought deep sorrow to the Big Apple but for the country as a whole. That day America changed forever.

To pay tribute to the fallen victims, rappers from all around the country put up posts in their honor. Diddy opted for a more personal photo, posting the iconic picture of the Notorious B.I.G. in front of the towers in 1996. "Never Forget! #911," he captioned.

Dave East however, although filled with emotion, took the time to speak about his suspicions towards the U.S. government."It's Sad When You Think About It For Real," wrote East. "That's Why I'll Never Trust Americas Government. The Regular Citizens Of The USA Had Nothing To Do With This Happening, It Was All Government/Presidential. I Was In The 8th Grade On September 11, 2001 And I Couldn't Believe That Shit. Then I Grew Up And Realized How Much Dirt Our Government Has Done To Other Countries/People And I Realized That Karma Is A Mothafucca. I Salute Everybody That Stayed Strong Throughout That Horrible Event. To All The Families That Lost Loved Ones I Feel For You. This How My City Looked When I Was A Kid. KEEP YA HEAD UP AND YA EYES OPEN NEVER TRUST THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!!," the Harlem rapper stressed.

Warren G, Fabolous and other rappers also sent their condolences. "Gone but not forgotten," posted Tony Yayo with a picture of the pre-exisitng towers. Check out all the rappers who paid tribute on 9/11 above.
