Lil Yachty is one of the most talked-about Atlanta exports this year. The self-proclaimed "king of the teens" is a favorite among plenty of music fans 18 and under these days. And now, the 19-year-old "Minnesota" rapper has named his favorite rapper in the industry. Drumroll please. It's Chance The Rapper!

"Lol I right now here declare @chancetherapper as my favorite rapper," tweeted Lil Boat this morning (Sept. 9). And since the two are friends, Chance was quick to show his gratitude. The "No Problems" rapper quoted Yachty's tweet and replied, "It is truly an honor good sir."

The 2016 XXL Freshman has been catching a lot of heat lately from some of rap's pioneers due to his lack of hip-hop's history knowledge. So saying that Chance, who is 23, is his favorite rapper in the game might be a jab at his haters as much as it is a sign of admiration for the indie phenom. Who knows. Either way, Yachty and Chano is already sharing up to be a positive partnership.

This past Labor Day Weekend, Chance brought out Lil Yachty during his nighttime set at Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, P.A., proving the two have a bond beyond the studio. And back when Chance dropped his highly anticipated third mixtape Coloring Book the Chicago rapper deemed Lil Yachty's guest verse was his favorite on the project. That means among verses contributed by Kanye West, Jay Electronica, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Future and more, the Chance chose Yachty's auto-tuned bars on "Mixtape" to be the best in show.

Check out how the guys expressed their brotherly love on social media following Made in America Festival these past few days.
