Kodak Black may be behind bars, but the 2016 XXL Freshman is still dropping new material. The Florida native's team keeps Kodak on your mind by releasing a video for his song "Can I" produced by Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E. and Derelle Rideout. The video employs some black and white visuals for this record off Kodak's Lil Big Pac mixtape.

"All my people wanted me to sit my ass down/But I been on go since I got off my behind/Everybody wanna shine/Nobody wanna grind/See my nigga working hard, that shit paid him off fine," Kodak raps.

Kodak Black is currently locked up after being sentenced to 120 days in prison for two misdemeanor weed charges. Kodak won't be serving the entire sentence though because he will be credited with time already served. The rapper will also have his drivers license suspended for a year and he must pay about $298 in court fees.

The Pompano Beach native is expected to be released on Nov. 30, but he has some separate charges in South Carolina that could extend his time in prison. Kodak Black is dealing with criminal sexual misconduct charges after being accused of comitting sexual battery in February.

In South Carolina, criminal sexual misconduct means the victim was forced to have sex. The charge carries a sentence of up to 30 years in jail. Kodak Black could be extradited to South Carolina after serving his time for the misdemeanor weed charges in St. Lucie County.
