Another Black man in America has died at the hands of police officers and the hip-hop world is refusing to stay quiet about it. 40-year-old Terence Crutcher of Tulsa, Oklahoma was attending to his stalled SUV on a public road over the weekend (Sept. 16) when he was approached by local police officers based on a 911 call about the abandoned vehicle. Crutcher was unarmed when officers Tyler Turnbough and Betty Shelby approached him. Shelby shot Crutcher in the chest while his hands were up. He later died in an area hospital. When video surveillance of the shooting came out officers who were watching in a helicopter above were recorded saying Crutcher looks like "a bad dude."

Another police murder, especially one with blatant evidence of prejudice, has once again infuriated the Black community in America, hip-hop included. Rappers like T.I., Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Russell Simmons, Killer Mike and more have spoken up about the death of Terence Crutcher and related the crime to their own bad experiences with police.

"America continues to remind US this ain't OUR country... It's Theirs & they ain't sharing it!," wrote T.I. in his IG post on the incident. "Therefore..... It's
#USorELSE #RIPTerenceCrutcher"

"I JUST SEEN A TERRORIST SURVIVE A SHOOTOUT WITH THE POLICE AFTER BLOWING SOME SHIT UP AND LATER ON THAT DAY A BLACK MAN SHOT DOWN FOR NO REASON AT ALL! "I NEVER BELIEVED IN AMERICA," wrote Meek in his heated rant, which you can read below.

This news comes after two high-profile deaths of Black men in America this past summer. Alton Sterling of Baton Rouge, La. and Philando Castile of St. Paul, Minn. were fatally shot by police officers on the same day back in July, causing an outpouring of national outrage and reignition of the Black Lives Matter movement. Many hip-hop stars expressed their feelings on the current police state in America, with some doing even more than venting on social media. The Game and Snoop Dogg organized a march on LAPD headquarters, August Alsina joined a protest in Baton Rouge, Lil Durk got a tattoo in tribute of Black Lives Matter and Jay Z donated $1.5 million towards the movement.
