Over the weekend, Drake teased an event to follow his Houston Summer Sixteen show titled "The Ballet," offering little in the way of an explanation beyond a date and time. Now that that date has passed though, the rapper has returned to Instagram to confirm that his pop-up dance club at Houston's Toyota Center is only the beginning of what's to come.

"Tonight is a different take on how it should be done in Houston," he wrote late Monday night (Sept. 5). "Treat yourself don't cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surroundings are unforgettable. The Ballet pop up tonight for HAW. Grand opening early 2017."

Drake has long referenced strip clubs in his music, mentioning on "Come Thru" for example, "Last night I brought DOA to the studio," but his new venture isn't a club of that variety, as he explains in the Twitter video below, which was taken from the pop-up event. "There's a culture out there of dancing and it's not about no strip club shit," he says. "It's about these amazing women that we've got in one spot, this music that we've got, this Houston culture that we got. I just wanna let you know that I'm going to bring it to you in the most honest and genuine way possible."

The Summer Sixteen tour rolls on this week, with a stop in Phoenix tonight before hitting Los Angeles for a two night stay. The North American tour wraps up later this month in Vancouver, with Drizzy's recent string of billboards suggesting that he's got more in the works.
