Drugs Found in Desiigner’s Car Were All Steroids, Not Oxycontin
Following Desiigner's arrest this past Thursday (Sept. 8), it was reported that upon searching an SUV, police discovered a bag of loose pills containing Oxycontin and other drugs. The rapper was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell and criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing, though the intent to sell and gun charges were later dropped.
Now, as further details emerge, the case is beginning to clear up some for Desiigner, with TMZ reporting that what was believed to be Oxycontin has been revealed to be steroids. Officers had believed the pills to be methamphetamines but in fact, all 302 pills were some sort of steroid, methandrostenolone, PharmOne Oxandrolone and Halotest Fluxymesteron among them.
What's more, the steroids don't even belong to Desiigner, but rather the driver of the SUV. Desiigner is still being charged with possession though the ownership and nature of the pills found seem to absolve him even further.
The G.O.O.D. Music signee has said that he was unaware any drugs were in the vehicle, and he was spotted at the Gucci store with Tyga just hours after being released from jail. The two had just dropped a new single together, "Gucci Snakes," and Desiigner seems to be keeping it rolling in the face of legal troubles, judging by his IG post below.
