Snoop Dogg has added an unusual collaboration to his large discography. The veteran rapper collaborated with former child star Corey Feldman on the actor's new album Angelic 2 the Core. Snoop worked with Feldman on a single called "Go 4 It" which officially dropped back in May.

Feldman is known for his work in movies such as The Goonies, The Lost Boys and Stand by Me. The actor has also been recording music with a band called Corey Feldman's Truth Movement for over 20 years. He spoke to TMZ about how his collaboration with Snoop Dogg came to be in the video above.

"Snoop actually came about through Trend Def," Feldman said. "Trend Def is the production company that did the beat on that song. They did the beat with Snoop and then they basically partnered up with me and I wrote the rest of the track."

Snoop Dogg isn't the only big name who worked with Feldman on the new album. Tha Dogg Pound's Kurupt and Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst also appear on the double LP.

Working with Corey Feldman is probably one of the stranger things that Snoop Dogg has done in his illustrious career. That career is set to be honored in a few weeks when Snoop receives the I Am Hip Hop Award at the BET Hip Hop Awards. The Doggfather will be able to add another award to his mantle after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.
