Chris Brown Tells Fans He Wasn’t Throwing Shade at Drake in Instagram Post

Chris Brown had fans and critics alike wondering just who he was talking about when he used his Instagram account to call out "fake-ass rappers" whom he thought weren't supporting Lil Wayne -- this was before he hinted he may be retiring from the game. Which rappers was Breezy talking about? He never specified, so some people began to think he might be talking about Drake, someone he's had more than a few problems with in the past.

So naturally, when Drake created his own Weezy support Instagram post, a few fans concluded that the "Marvin's Room" rapper's comments about "weirdos" were directed at Brown. They let Drizzy know in the post's comment section, and Breezy wasn't having it.

Baller Alert shared a screenshot of the post, which features the “Grass Ain't Greener” singer's comment shooting down the negative talk. "Y'all comments be funny. Making an issue outta nothing," Brown wrote. "Everybody know I don't have any issues @ing someone I had an issue wit. My post was for hip-hop. Stay classy."

Brown may be known to have a bad temper, but he definitely has a point. His past behavior dictates that if he were talking about Drake in his post, he probably would've let him know. Breezy and Drizzy have had differences in the past, but they both clearly support Wayne. They aren't the only people that do either.

Chance The Rapper was one of the first to come out and support Weezy, tweeting "I just wanna remind you that absolutely nothing and no one in this world can defeat you. Tell them devils back back." Missy Elliott, Rick Ross and other rappers also joined the effort to support Weezy through social media.
