Update:

Chris Brown has responded to the reports around his altercation at the game. See below.

Original Story:

The NFL held its first full slate of games of Sunday (Sept. 11) but there was plenty to talk about following a celebrity charity basketball game held at the University of Southern California.

Chris Brown first made headlines by opting to sit during the National Anthem despite Tank, who sung the song, urging those not to protest given the circumstances of the day. Mid-game, Mac Miller was sent to the ground after a devastating ball fake and crossover, but the fallout from that move didn't seem to compare to Brown's heated exchange with a courtside fan.

In the video above, footage either captured or obtained by TMZ, Brown can be seen jawing at the game attendee, with police and security arriving to that area of the arena in droves. At different points, Brown seems to be explaining the course of events to various security members, with one USC cop saying, "I don't care who's here, get it straight."

Based on the video, it isn't clear what prompted the altercation, but given Brown's prolonging of it all, it seems he was bothered in a major way. The singer's anger issues reportedly cost him a role on 50 Cent's Starz series Power, a source telling Page Six that Brown was livid upon hearing the news. Breezy's history of such behavior certainly isn't improved by the above video, with the singer posting the below photo to Instagram, simply writing "Dodging this bullshit like." We will update this story if Brown comments further on the incident or if new details emerge.
