Well$ is back with a brand new banger, this one featuring fellow North Carolinian act, Sylvan Esso. You can listen to the new track above.

"Young Man" sees Well$ spitting his customary venom, waxing on about life in his home of Charlotte, NC, where they "praise trap niggas and all the dope dealers." His aggressive vocals sound surprisingly at home on theNick Sanborn and Jimmy Kelso-produced electronic instrumental.  Amelia Meath, who is one half of Sylvan Esso along with Sanborn, provides the feathery vocals that play after the Well$ verse is done.

Well$ says that his decision to collaborate with Sylvan Esso arose from his diverse taste and music and a desier to work with other artists from NC.

"I'm a by-product of the iPod/iPhone generation. Our taste ain't really dictated by genre; it's a big shuffle," Well$ explained. "I still remember in '09 when I got my first iPod Nano listening to the Cool Kids, Kid Cudi, Pac Div, right next to Feist, CocoRosie, and Kat Power. I want to make music that reflects that reality, so doing a song with Sylvan Esso feels natural to me. And it's also a way to unify North Carolina's music scene which tends to be a little too segregated for my taste."

Fans can expect to hear much more from Well$ in the near future. You can expect the follow-up to 2014's MTSYD: The Revenge of the African Booty Scratcher, titled  TWILMMMN, later this year. Keep it locked with XXL for more updates.
