Tyler, The Creator and Frank Ocean are buds; the type of friends who race each other in the streets and lend poems for one another's zines. With the release of Frank's long-awaited album Blonde, many are celebrating, Tyler among them, as he gave the singer a birthday cake to commemorate the occasion. "Birthday cake for Blonde. Thanks Tyler," Ocean wrote on Tumblr beneath a photo of himself holding the cake, what looks fairly standard as far as baked goods go.

For those wondering, Frank's real birthday is Oct. 28, and Tyler's is in March, so the "birthday" gift seems nothing more than a congratulatory joke between homies. Check the photo up above, with Frank wearing a tee shirt that reads, "I'm Not Famous Anymore."

Tyler hasn't commented on the cake on Twitter at all, but he has announced a name change, dropping his long-standing @fucktyler for something a bit more PG. "RIP FUCKTYLER, WILL MISS YOU, ITS BEEN GREAT, BUT NOW ITS TIME FOR ME TO......IDK WHAT EXACTLY, BUT ITS TIME, IM OK WITH THAT. LOVE YOU," he wrote on Tuesday (Aug. 23).

With change in the air, the crispness of fall cutting through the thick summer heat, it's an opportunity for reinvention. Frank's multimedia drop has included a visual album and print accompaniment, which included an interview with Lil B, a list of his favorite films and more. It may not be his birthday, but with all eyes on Frank and his comprehensive release, there is certainly good cause to celebrate.
