Travis Scott's new album finally has a release date. The rapper went on Twitter today (Aug. 12) to announce that Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is now scheduled to drop on Aug. 26.

"AUGUST 26 2016 BITTSM SEE U THEN," Travis Scott wrote.

The release date reveal came just a few hours after the premiere of Travis Scott's new Beats 1 Radio show. During the inaugural episode of .WAV Radio, Scott shared details about the new LP including some of the guests scheduled to appear. Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi and Kamaiyah were listed as the confirmed guests on Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. Scott has also teased a collaboration with Kanye West, but it looks like that song might end up on the Astroworld album.

Travis Scott could be unveiling more about the album later today as he's also set to throw a .WAV Party. The free event is taking place in Los Angeles.

"AUGUST 5TH WE WAS SUPPOSE TO SET THIS OFF. BUT DO TO 'TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES' WE HAD TO MOVE IT TO THE 12th," Travis wrote under a flyer for the event on Instagram. "THAT BEING SAID KIDS WE EAT FRIDAY. JOIN ME AND CHASE B FOR A FREE EXPERIENCE SOMWHERE IN LA FOR THE START OF BIRD SZN. TUNE IN ON THE 12th. AND U SHALL BE GUIDED."
