The Weeknd has touched some pretty special stages so far this year, performing "Earned It" at the Academy Awards in February and a "Tell Your Friends" remix with Nas at the Met Gala in May. Now he plans to continue that run in October, when he performs at the Circuit of The Americas following the 2016 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

Taylor Swift will be headlining the race with a performance on Saturday Oct. 22, with Weeknd closing things out the following day. Tickets for the weekend are available at Circuit of The America's website, with Sunday-only race tickets priced at $99 and three day passes going for $150.

Since dropping his album Beauty Behind the Madness in August of last year, The Weekend has seen his stardom sky rocket behind the success of such hits as "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills." The album has since gone triple platinum and earned the Canadian singer two Grammys for Best R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album. He was as well nominated for Album of the Year and Record of the Year, but lost to Swift and Mark Ronson, respectively.

The Weeknd seems poised to drop some new music in the coming months, appearing on a collaboration with Cashmere Cat today that you can hear below via Spotify and jumping on Jeremih's "Pass Dat" remix alongside Chance The Rapper and Young Thug.
