A lot has changed since Stro first appeared on the first season of The X Factor back in 2011 as Astro. He's gotten older. His voice has gotten deeper. And though he was spitting with bars beyond his years back then, he is going even harder nowadays. The 19-year-old MC recently flexed his lyrical muscle on Shade 45's ShowOff Radio Show hosted by Statik Selektah with a stink-face inducing freestyle session.

The Brooklyn rapper gets in a complete zone, snapping over tracks like A Tribe Called Quest's "Excursions," Mobb Deep's "Quiet Storm," Nas' "Made You Look" and Gang Starr's "Mass Appeal." Nothing can interrupt his vibe, even though people try, as he totally blacks out with rhymes off the top of the dome. The lyrical display is impressive to say the least.

Last month, Stro dropped the track "Aura" where he is again snapping for over four minutes over a track produced by Cassius G.

Things are looking up for the Brooklyn bar layer. He recently signed a partnership with Monster Electronics. He is also building on a budding career in acting which saw him nab roles in two films in 2014, Earth to Echo and A Walk Among the Tombstones. He’s playing the role of Lodis in the upcoming movie Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk. The film will have its world premiere at the 54th New York Film Festival on Oct. 14.

Watch him go HAM, above.
