The 2016 Olympics are well underway and everyone in the world is watching. Every four years, the world's best athletes flock to a designated host city to compete for gold in their sports. This year, the destination is Rio de Janiero, Brazil, the host to the momentous event.

From Team USA, two female athletes, gymnast Simone Biles and swimmer Simone Manuel, have taken home gold medals in their respective sports, doing so on the same day. Swimmer Michael Phelps stands as the most decorated Olympian in history with 28 medals, has so far won five golds and one silver medal in 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay, 200-meter butterfly, 4 × 200 meter freestyle relay, 200 meter individual medley and more

As a nation, the U.S. currently leads the pack with 28 gold medals, 30 silver and 28 bronze (and counting). It's no wonder the games' participants are captivating the world -- rappers included.

Chance The Rapper gave a shoutout to swimmer Conor Dwyer for not only putting Michael Phelps onto his music but for winning gold for USA. Drake posted an Instagram photo of Canada's Olympic swimmer Penny Oleksiak, congratulating her on her win, calling her "OVO Pen" and inviting Penny to a Summer Sixteen show once she's back from Rio. And Weezy F. Baby tweeted out his congrats to the entire U.S. women's gymnastics team in his typical Twitter slang.
