In April, a grand jury indicted Nicki Minaj's brother, Jelani Maraj, on charges of raping a 12-year-old girl. Now, the prosecution says Maraj's DNA matches the semen found on the victim's clothes.

According to Bossip, assistant district attorney Anthony Pirri told the judge at a July 26 hearing, "A DNA profile, a partial profile matching the defendant or consistent with the defendant, your honor, to the point in the hundreds of billionths of chance of it being any other individual, was discovered in the … pants of the complainant in this case, and also tested positive indicating the presence of semen."

Maraj was allegedly raping the victim for several months prior to the arrest. Reportedly, the prosecution has now offered Maraj a plea deal of 15 years to life. Nicki Minaj has not publicly spoken about the case since the news first broke of the arrest in December 2015.

In music-related Nicki news, be sure to check out her monster collab "Do You Mind" alongside Future, Rick Ross, Jeremih, Chris Brown and August Alsina on DJ Khaled's Major Key album. In late June, she won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the BET Awards. It's the seventh time the New York MC has taken home the award.

Also, DJ Mustard recently unleashed a banger with Nicki and Jeremih called "Don't Hurt Me." Nicki is loving the basketball references as of late: on "Don't Hurt Me," she spits, "Even if you was Curry bitch, there’s still a LeBron/But let’s face it, I’m Curry with rings like LeBron."
