Last night (Aug. 21), Drake performed in Philly for the latest stop on his Summer Sixteen tour. Taking advantage of being in Meek Mill's hometown, the Toronto MC had some special words for Meek after performing the diss track "Back to Back": “And just remember, when you watch that video over and over tonight, it’s not about your city. I love your city. You did that shit to your motherfuckin’ self, boy!”

Meek quickly responded on Instagram before deleting the post, but hours later put up a different kind of post, one that brushed off Drake's continued insults and instead announced when Meek's upcoming DC4 mixtape could be expected.

"THE TRAP WILL B FOREVER LIT..." captioned Meek in the picture above. "THEY MAD THAT COMMERCIAL TALK CANT EFFECT THE KID! MY HOOD WAS OUT LAST NIGHT! DC4 SEPT................"

After Drake's show, people in Philly started posting videos claiming they were pressing or coming to press the Six God at the venue, but claimed heavy police protection stopped them from proceeding.

Meek himself wrote, "When u run out the back door wit 12 and use the "old man" 2 save you! I'm done "you had Philadelphia swat with you" Ima go head hang it up with these suckas! Had y'all tucked in back there for hrs lol #stillrunning."

Meek's been previewing a lot of new music, lately including a collab with Quavo and a song featuring production from 808 Mafia. Let's hope he stick to a September release date for DC4.
