Isaiah Rashad's new project is expected to drop before the end of 2016. Yesterday (Aug. 7), the TDE artist shared a new track called "Free Lunch."

Backed by a feel-good Cam O'bi instrumental, Rashad raps about obtaining a meal ticket and not caring what other people think - essentially, don't let anyone tell you that you're anything less for eating for free. He spits, "In my hood we call it clout, fuck 'bout what you think of me / All my hoes be nines and dimes, all she want is chicken grease / All you know is what your mammy taught you 'bout the surface / Get your meal ticket, ticket, meal ticket, ticket."

The Chattanooga, Tenn. MC has been relatively quiet since his Cilvia Demo mixtape in 2014. The 25-year-old dropped his new single "Smile" along with the music video this past January, and then he released a snippet in March along with a few Instagram previews. Other than that, Rashad fans haven't heard much new music.

In February, TDE founder and CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith released a 2016 schedule for all of his artists. Next to Rashad's name, he wrote "3rd stage creative." That note seems to suggest that Isaiah's tape/album is dropping at some point this year.
