Kanye West will likely be the star of the show at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. The Chicago rapper is getting four minutes to do whatever he wants at the upcoming award show. MTV is giving Yeezus free reign with no idea what he is going to do in the allotted time.

The network's decision to let West do what he wants may simply be a result of knowing they can't control him. Back in 2009, 'Ye interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech in a moment that lives on to this day "Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!" he said.

Last year, The Life of Pablo creator was given the platform to unleash a longwinded rant that was among the most captivating he's ever delivered. The speech even included Yeezy revealing his intentions to run for president in 2020. With the reality of Donald Trump's presidential candidacy, the rapper's plan seems less crazy than it did at the time.

Yeeyz's moment at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards will be a special one so we asked our readers what they think he'll do during his live TV time. Many think West will speak about Taylor Swift or perform a song. Some of the wilder ideas include a rant about Harambe, the gorilla who has become a meme after being shot and killed at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden in May. Check out what our readers had to say about what Kanye will do at the VMAs in the above gallery.
