Update:

Ebro has responded to Drake. Listen below.

Original Story:

With each city the Summer Sixteen tour passes through, Drake has taken the opportunity to big up a high-profile guest or knock down some industry adversary. In Austin, Drizzy took aim at his "Controlla" imitators while the next day, in Dallas, he joked that he should invite Joe Budden on-stage. With a three night stay in New York kicking off Thursday (Aug. 4), Drake stayed his charged-up self, dissing Hot 97 during a mid-set freestyle.

"You see they telling lies on Hot 97 that’s how it goes/I told ‘em fire Funk Flex and then I’ll come and do your show/Plus me and Kanye we just left out the studio/My first night in Garden, I’m feeling like D. Rose," he rapped, making reference to the one-time MVP guard that the New York Knicks acquired this offseason.

The lies that he makes mention of come from morning show host Ebro who said earlier this week, in a move he later revealed to be a troll, that Eminem and Drake were a moment away from dissing one another. As for the Flex specific shots, the famed New York DJ had some choice words for Drake back in November, and played a part in the Meek Mill beef and ghostwriting scandal when he released a reference track for "10 Bands" last July.

Flex naturally has offered a rebuttal real f'n quick, channeling Biggie on Twitter, by writing "7pm Sat I got a story to tell! @Drake u gonna learn!" Drake has withstood assaults on his credibility before, so it will be interesting to see what skeleton Flex is panning to unearth. The Summer Sixteen tour continues in New York tonight and tomorrow.
