Diddy is ready to rumble! Sean "Diddy" Combs will appear on an upcoming episode of WWE's Monday Night Raw episode reports Rolling Stone today (Aug. 1). The rap mogul will be a guest star on the famed sports entertainment series next week on August 8.

Diddy is no stranger to the WWE world. Back in 2010, Puff performed for WWE's Tribute to the Troops special and was present at Wrestlemania 29 in 2013 being that his song "Coming Home" was the official theme song of the event. But what still remains to be seen is exactly what Diddy will be doing on the upcoming show next week.

WWE and hip-hop have intertwined for years. Wrestlers commonly use rap songs as their entrance music into the ring and MCs like Wale, Action Bronson and The Flatbush Zombies are some of the sport's biggest celeb fans. It was even announced earlier this year that Snoop Dogg would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame .

While the jury's still out on what Diddy's role in the sports program will be, we do know the Bad Boy founder is getting back into acting in general. It was also reported today that Diddy will appear on an episode of ABC's new fall series Notorious. Entertainment Weekly reports that the 46-year-old hip-hop mainstay will be playing himself as a guest star on the fledging drama series about criminal law and the media. With over twenty years in the entertainment business, this cameo shouldn't be too much of a stretch for Combs.

Catch Diddy on WWE's Monday Night Raw next Monday live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
