Chris Brown is already trying to move past his arrest for assault with a deadly weapon. The singer broke his silence on the matter by posting a short video to Instagram.

"You know all this bullshit, everything going on man, I'm just gonna turn the other cheek," Brown said. "Drop some music."

Chris Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon yesterday (Aug. 30) following a bizarre stand-off with police. Cops surrounded Brown's home for multiple hours as they waited on a search warrant to examine his home. He was later released on $250,000 bail.

The police's investigation of Chris Brown was prompted by the accusations of woman named Baylee Curran. Curran called 911 to report an incident in which Brown allegedly pulled a gun on her. She would later give some interviews to media outlets which provided more details about how she ended up in this situation.

Baylee Curran claimed she was at Chris Brown’s house around 3 a.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 30) morning when a diamond cross necklace caught her attention. Curran's story of what she did with jewelry has changed. In one interview, she said she touched the jewelry. But in another, Curran insisted that she never put her hands on the necklace.

Whatever went down apparently did not sit well with Chris Brown and his friends. Curran asserted that Brown and company yelled at her before the singer put a gun to her head. In her account, Curran ran out of the home to call police but was stopped somehow. Curran said Brown and his associates would not let her leave until she signed a non-disclosure agreement. Curran stated she refused, made a break for it and contacted the cops.
