Frank Ocean may have captured much of the music world's attention with the release of his visual album, but plenty of dope songs were released this week.

The aforementioned Frank Ocean finally delivered his long awaited album, but not the one everyone expect. Instead of Boys Don't Cry, Ocean put out a visual LP titled Endless. One of the highlights of the project is the track "Slide on Me" which begins a little over halfway into the project. Head over to Apple Music to hear it if you have not already.

Even though Young Thug has rap fans waiting on his Jeffery mixtape, he popped up with a new song called "Bobby Womack" that has nothing to do with the project. The record sees Thugger linking up with his Bankroll Mafia cohort T.I. for an entertaining cut produced by London on da Track.

Earl Sweatshirt popped back up with his own new song courtesy of the Adult Swim Singles program. The talented MC displayed his minimalistic style once again on "Balance" produced by Knxwledge. The track is very brief yet Earl manages to pack plenty of potent bars into the record.

Mick Jenkins excited all his fans this week with the announcement of a release date for his debut album. The Healing Component is due out on Sept. 23 and the Chicago rapper began the hype train by dropping the lead single "Spread Love.' The smooth production and intricate rhymes are a great sign of things to come on Jenkins' highly anticipated debut.
