This week's best songs came primarily from the West Coast. But the South, Midwest and East Coast all get some shine too in XXL's latest collection.

San Diego rapper Rob Stone scored the biggest record of his career with "Chill Bill." The track samples a melody which appeared in the 1968 film Twisted Nerve, but was made famous in Quentin Tarantino’s 2003 hit Kill Bill Volume 1. The song has racked up millions of plays on SoundCloud and YouTube, helping him land a deal with RCA Records. With its ever increasing recognition, Stone decided it was the right time for a remix.

The new version of "Chill Bill" features 2016 XXL Freshman Denzel Curry, D.R.A.M. and Cousin Stizz. Rob Stone and the trio of artists do a great job on this remix which should only help expose the original to more people around the world.

Vince Staples supplied his fans with another dose of music via his Prima Donna EP. The project officially dropped today (Aug. 26) with its title track being a particular highlight. Staples drops some slick bars on "Prima Donna" while getting a little assist from ASAP Rocky at the tail end of the record.

Mick Jenkins lands another one of the best songs for the second week in a row with his contribution to the oddCouple's "Blinded." The cut sees Jenkins and Webster X trading bars over the oddCouple's synth-laden production. "Blinded" will serve as the first single for oddCouple’s upcoming project Liberation.
